DJI is taking its pocket-sized camera lineup in a much more cinematic direction. At the Cannes Film Festival this week, the company unveiled the new DJI Osmo Pocket 4P to a global audience, positioning it less as a creator gadget and more as a legitimate filmmaking tool for documentaries, indie productions, and professional storytelling.

DJI has unveiled the Osmo Pocket 4, a new-generation pocket gimbal camera that builds on the runaway success of the Pocket 3. But right now, it’s effectively locked out of the US market with no clear path forward. And that’s because, unlike some of DJI’s latest drones, like the Avata 360, or action cameras such as the Osmo 360, even importing one through third-party sellers may not be a reliable workaround anymore.

DJI’s pocket-sized vlogging powerhouse just got a serious price drop. The DJI Osmo Pocket 3, a fan-favorite among travel vloggers and solo shooters, is enjoying a 32% discount right now, dropping its price from $799 to $543. But the timing couldn’t be more interesting: new leaks hint that DJI’s next-gen Osmo Pocket 4 could be right around the corner.
